National broadcaster and journalist Duncan Barkes heads the Pompey Sound News desk.
Duncan has worked previously at LBC and Talksport, where his remit of news and current affairs provided an essential counter-balance to Talksport’s diet of sport. He then upgraded to BBC Radio, hosting national and international shows, interviewing news makers of the calibre of Henry Kissinger.

He’s also one of Britain’s most eminent TV programme makers, with 3 BAFTAs, 2 EMMYs and a hallowed US PEABODY.

Mick delivers a weekly post match monologue on Sunday mornings on Pompey Sound, and guests on Sam Stone’s Round Table.

Steve Bone has carved himself a place in the annals of south coast sports writing. A renowned print journalist, Steve is also a diehard Pompey fan since childhood.

His dedication to every tier of football across the region sees him just as likely to be found standing on the touchline reporting a Sunday morning game as taking his seat in the Fratton Park press box.

A lifelong Pompey fan, Sam hosts “Sam Stone’s Round Table”, a weekly debate show in which he steers the contributors through the latest Pompey topics and breaking Pompey news.

He has also commentated on two Tyson Fury fights at Wembley Stadium & The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
