Specialising in phone-in and sports, he hosted Radio Five’s weekday sports show “Sportsbeat” before moving to Talksport where his combative football shows saw him make firm friends - and foes - among the UK’s football fans. Tommy hosts our live weekday breakfast show “Wake Up With Pompey"

National broadcaster and journalist Duncan Barkes heads the Pompey Sound News desk. 

Duncan has worked  previously at LBC and Talksport, where his remit of news and current affairs provided an essential counter-balance to Talksport’s diet of sport. He then upgraded to BBC Radio, hosting national and international shows, interviewing news makers of the calibre of Henry Kissinger.
